Should I compress JavaScript?
So you’ve heard the terms GZIP, compress and minify associated with JavaScript? WordPress uses JavaScript and it is a great idea to compress JavaScript as much as possible as this will improve page loading times (there are various methods of compressing including minify and gzip however all achieve similar benefits).
