Crazydomains Aus Fails Again
Last month thousands of Websites were offline for over 18 hours. Crazydomains, the Australian shared hosting company, was the host affected. For the affected Websites (of which many are WordPress Sites) this was a SEO disaster; a Website being unavailable makes visitors go to other Sites. Search Engines also don’t like Sites being unavailable; the goal of a Search Engine is to deliver content aligned to what the searcher is looking for and landing at an unavailable page from the Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs) isn’t good for Search Engines!
Most disappointing of all however is that Crazydomains haven’t even contacted Webmasters/owners of the Sites affected to apologize for the outage/unavailability. People pay a fee for a service and expect some reasonable level of availability and service. Crazydomains have failed their customers.
